XRL 811B – West Kowloon Terminus Approach Tunnel (South)
The major elements of works under Contract 811B comprise the following:
i) Construction of approximately 430 m long cut and
cover reinforced concrete piled tunnel.

ii) Construction of 1.5 m thick x approximately 710 m long diaphragm walls
with founding level at approximately -25 mPD to -46 mPD.

iii) Construction of a reinforced concrete tunnel ventilation building and associated ABWF and building services.

iv) Construction of a Public Transport Interchange (footprint area approximately 19,100 m²) with landscape deck (footprint area approximately 12,800 m²), and the associated E&M, ABWF and landscaping works.

v) Temporary and permanent traffic diversions, including construction of a temporary footbridge, demolition and re-provisioning of permanent footbridge.

vi) Construction of a public toilet.

vii) Temporary diversion of four major underground drainage box culverts.

viii) Associated utilities, drainage and roadworks.
